At this time North Fork Recycling is offering curbside and drop off services. 

For a monthly fee the following items can be recycled with North Fork Recycling.

•   Plastic #1,#2
•   Tin cans

•   Glass bottles

•   Aluminum

•   Flattened Corrugated cardboard and brown paper bags  (nothing wax lined)
•   Mixed paper: Junk mail, mixed color paper, office paper, newsprint, magazines, cereal and cracker boxes, egg cartons (no waxy card stock...i.e. milk and juice cartons, dishwasher soap boxes etc)   

CURBSIDE SERVICE

For a monthly fee NFR will collect your recycling at the curb.  You can choose to have your recycling collected once a month ($20) or twice a month ($25).  At this time we can only offer curbside service to residents of Paonia and Hotchkiss and those who live within a two mile radius of town.   

Currently our collection days will be the 1st and 3rd (twice a month service only) Saturday of each month. 

 

DROP OFF SERVICE

If you would like the covenience of dropping your recycling off on your schedule we offer a drop off service ($15 a month).  The drop off trailer is conveniently located in downtown Paonia.  Drop off is allowed 7 days a week during daylight hours.

The fees for our services are as follows.

CURBSIDE SERVICE

• $20.00 a month per household once a month collection at curb (must live within two miles of town)
• $25.00 a month per household twice a month colleciton at curb (must live within two miles of town)
• $15.00 account set up fee

DROP OFF SERVICE

• $15.00 a month per household drop off services
• $15.00 account set-up fee
• As part of our honor system we ask that if your first drop off is more than one months worth of your household recycling you pay extra for the months you have stock piled.  For example if you figure you have 3 months of recycling on hand an extra payment of $45 is needed to cover our costs.  Also this stockpile needs to be sorted (non recyclable items removed) according to the guidelines on the How it works page. Thank you!!!
• Have to much to handle.  We can quote you for a custom one time pick up for that stockpile. (Still needs to be sorted and bagged folks!)
